With several attempts to contact, I was told June 7th a chq would be sent, A/P error. Two more attempts to contact with no return, I finally talked to A/P today who cheerfully told me the chq went out yesterday(Feb 26th invoice). Signing officer not in!!
 
did you ever receive this payment. I have an outstanding amount with them and was wondering how worried I should be considering you are still trying to be paid from Feb and mines from May.
 
Mine is from June 13; supposedly the cheque was "return to sender" (wrong address?)
and was being resent this week
 
We also have an outstanding freight bill with this company, and every excuse has been used. Apparently, my check has been processed and left unsigned by the owner who apparently has not been in the office to sign it for the last 6 weeks. I did call today and let them know that if a check was not sent today that I would be billing their customer on Monday morning.
 
I am having the same problem collecting an outstanding balance, I just informed them that I will be contacting there customer if I do not have a response by tomorrow morning.
 
I did that as well and the owner never called back - they don't seem to worried about it - so I have sent everything on to our lawyer for collection
 
Has anyone else received monies from Burgess within the last month? Our payment bounced - and I can't get anyone to deal with this. The contact I noted previously - Nicole - is never in the office now and said I need to deal with the owner Brad directly.

I have submitted my complaint to Link - please do the same if you are in the same boat & we'll get their account shut off - complaints@linklogi.com

Enough is enough....

Any updates on this would be appreciated.

We have monies owing from Burgess as well.
We are getting the same run around, I did finally speak with Brad directly this morning, but that was a useless conversation.
I just sent an invoice to his customer.
We shall see how that goes.
 
Please submit a complaint to Link today.

Their account is active on Link and they will keep booking loads and putting others in the same scenario as us if their account isn't shut off...
 
I heard they closed up shop... Somebody was telling me they closed the trucking side of the business, not sure about the Logistics side of things tho...

Watchdog - please submit a complaint to Link today - we will then have 3 in....

At the very least - we will find out what is going on with Burgess and get their account shut off...
