BEST TMS?

Any new feedback for Rose Rocket? Demo with them on Friday, looking to switch from Transplus.

I know they have a lot of bells and whistles, but checking if anyone else has anything new to share pros/cons.

We are a broker, no assets.
 
We've been with TransPlus since July and, according to the staff, it's working decently. Not every program will have exactly what you want but the TransPlus support staff has been quite helpful in guiding us along. We'll see how it goes for the next 6 months and we will have a better idea once we get a year under our belt. Right now, we're still learning...

Had it since 06 all good unless you make a dispatching mistake they can take some time to fix. Only a couple clicks but the waiting for the other parties involved to make the changes sucks. Other than that great system.

We've been on TransPlus for our brokerage division since 2016 and it's been good for us.

EDI connections to customers and carriers work well but can take some time to build.

The system is a bit quirky (aren't they all) but once you understand it... it's a solid system with very little downtime.

upgrades are well spaced... and they do provide quarterly webinars that feature what's new.

Overall... it's a very good system for freight brokerage and I would recommend.

In my past I've used TEDS, Wolfbyte, TMW & UFOS

Took about 1 day for Rose Rocket to take all our datas ( Customer, locations, carriers ) from Tailwind and put them in Rose Rocket. Super easy. Great service.

it's not on yet, we are still working around and testing. We only took the ops side for now, January we'll get the module for AP/AR and all that jazz.

Tailwind bugs every freaking day, usually around 3pm.
Nobody we can reach, and it's super expensive.
Tailwind charges by users
Rose Rocket, by transaction. Unlimited users. and way cheaper.

All in All, can't wait to switch totally.

Hey Misto,

Are you on Rose Rocket now? We are growing again, and our current TMS ( Avaal) isn't really working out for us. We are looking at Rose Rocket again and boy is it pricier than the last time i checked, about $2900 CAD a month. But at this point I think anything in the big leagues is going to be 3K+.

How are you liking it so far? was data transfer easy?

I am in the same boat as you, AFM lately has become too slow.

I have taken demos of Axon, Transplus, Alvys and Mcleod, but everything is just super expensive and some are outdated. Transplus wants around $5K for the initial setup alone.

Please let us know as well if you find a good product that is reasonably priced. I also looking around for something better.
