Hijacked Freight After Being A Day And A Half Late For Delivery. Dont Broker Freight To Them , Many Others Have Had Similar Experience.

They took a load from us over Christmas.
They picked it up and then demanded payment by Credit card before it would deliver. REASON UNKNOWN
If you can believe it they still owe us from Nov.
Chq is apparently in the mail.
They even have the nerve to call here for freight

I used them last week (1st time) paid extra $$ for Saturday delivery, they did not deliver until Monday ( i should have known better) but they still insisted on getting paid full amount .... threatened to call customer for extra $$ ... LOL

BREST is getting around Load Link somehow

We had problems with B.R.E.S.T. in the past - mainly connected with them telling blatant lies - so we stopped using them. We also disabled them from seeing our postings on Load Link -- however they continue to call on loads that we post. We have questioned them on this only to be answered with evasive double talk. They are definitely hooked up with some other scam artist trucker to see the loads. B.R.E.S.T. is bad news -- I would not give them any loads under any circumstances!

B.r.e.s.t

AKA Best Reliable Established Safe Trans. That is how they still see your freight. They have 2 names with load Link, took me a bit to figure it out.

B.r.e.s.t.

Gave B.R.E.S.T. a chance to move some freight after they hired Chris in dispatch and they have been doing a good job. Keeps me up to date on problems on any with deliveries. Seems they have changed. They even bailed me out when TBN sat on Michigan freight for a week. Just proves things can change.

Brest

I agree, amazing how the right dispatcher makes the difference. For the last couple of months i have had nothing but good things to say about BREST, unfortunately, recently we had some problems (it happened to be one of my biggest accounts) and Stan first made a couple of excuses, like didn't know the pick up was for last night (which he did), and then he advised me he was confused. That scared me especially the excuse part, and sounded much like the old BREST. I asked him to call me, when he was feeling less confused. Hopefully things haven't fallen off track for them, i'm sure i'll hear back one of these days.

no good experience here!!

they stiffed us for thousends of dollars a few years ago. I would not work with them if my life depended on it.

Brest

Brest is losing its milk not much there to feed anyone and its drying out. The famous Edwarda the owner waved her wand and brought back Cam Clark from the dead. I'm sure we all know Cam Clark and his reputation. I guess he's there to either save the business or help her get her money out before the milk runs out. Beware--Be careful--Be smart.

Breathless

It seems Breathless has taken offence to something in the statement above and chose to explain himself in a manner unbecoming the forum we are trying to present. Come on now use your words.

It would appear that they took offence to someone using the name "Brest" as a metaphor for their current situation.
Sorry, maybe they are not going "tits up"

HaHaha.

Good one.

There should just be a thread dedicated to stupid trucking company names.

Unusual company names

How about S & M TRUCKING LTD. of Edwardsville, NS ??? What were they thinking??

Anyway, Thanks for the mamaries!
