Maybe they are just trying to avoid all the phone calls, that come when you post anything on the link.
 
I was getting those emails from Julie too, they still owe me from a June invoice. I asked to be removed from her emaill list immediately and that I was not interested in doing any loads for BREST, ever.
 
i know at least 5 people who have worked there....nothing but bad things to say..I used them for a time and will not ever deal with them again....the reason are too numerous to list....bad news....DNU, there are much better options out there!!!!
 
I sent my driver in yesterday to pick up a cheque from a June invoice. The doors are locked, someone came to the door and without opening it, told my driver to "Go away, we have no money for you".

June 2009... I have to wait almost 10 months for payment???? Who knows if and when I will ever get paid?
 
My experience with Brest gave me the urge to drive over and burn their facility down.:mad: Of course nothing like that happened though.:D

I've used BREST once in the last year, and used them before with a previous employer.
I've got nothing good to say about them.
I will never use them again.
 
B.R.E.S.T. Has LEFT the building

According to my wife,
the office of B.R.E.S.T vacated the address on Haines Rd, Mississauga last night at around 11:30 pm
 
They were renting space from Zita transport.
They bailed on $15,000 rent, Bailiffs were involved.....

Phone the gang at Zita to confirm.

Anybody with BREST dealings had better start checking.
 
It appears they did a midnight move last night...check rumour threads.

Out of Business?

I just got an email from BREST from a Julie. They have freight to broker.
I sent a reply that I heard they went out of business and she sent back that there lease ran out at the building they were in and are still in business.

Just an FYI.
