BREST Transport

Good Morning to all,
I recently used BREST transport on a shipment from Philadelphia to Toronto and my customer just called me to inform me that a guy by the name of Adolf has been soliciting the account. Harassment would be a better word because he emails and call twice a day on the account. Just a word of warning that any shpments given to they will solicit. Adolf is now with BREST and used to be with Ursus Transport.
 
oh there's other threads on BREST. I blocked them years ago- so many lies and excuses. Freight was rarely on time.
I also got tired of being called "sweetie" more than twice in the same sentence

held my freight hostage , then delivered it 3 days late, damaged and scratched. undoubtedly the worst carrier i have ever had the mis pleasure of dealing with. avoid them completey is my advice.
 
Just spoke to Cam at BREST and got the situation resolved. Adolph is a new sales guy at BREST and it was a miss communication between customers and I will continue to use BREST in the future.

Good luck with that. I'm not taking them off DNU, they've been making up stories for years. Some things never change.

Just an F.Y.I. If it'n ot a suprise to most that they back solicit, there usually is a reason for that. I know if I see that many bad reports and no one even trying to defend them, there usually a poor excuse for a carrier. I'm not saying that BREST is, but as the saying goes " If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck...watch out for falling turds...
 
I have no experiences in using them as a carrier but I know we moved some freight for them picked up on time delivered on time and it took over 120 days to get paid after numerous calls and visits had to send them to collections to receive payment. Stay away from moving freight for them too.
 
We have done moves for them as well DNU.. Take forever to pay and call you off the hook like your new or something at this been in this industry for 20years I'm sure I know what I am doing by now..
 
I worked for this company, and what a mistake that turned out to be. I've never witnessed such dissoriented thought processes before in my 15 years in this wavey industry. I'm surprised Eddy is keeping that rickety boat afloat, the turn around rate for employees is unreal.

I know as a broker I would never use them for any of my freight. Same goes for the TBN and the dingleberry they got back from B.R.E.S.T.
 
anyone else getting available freight emails lately???

Has anyone else been getting emails from BREST lately? I have and we have never dealt with them in any manner whatsoever! I keep getting emails several times a week listing their available freight. Weird....
