Aberstar Fast Freight

This company has a long reputation of unsavory business practices.

I'd rank them right down there with Over the Road.

I’ve also used them on a couple loads and everything went well. Didn’t know they had a brokerage side.

Robby,

Aberstar has handled 152 shipments for us in the preceding 12 months. Zero shipments were brought to my attention due to extreme service failures.

I can not comment on their brokerage side as we deal with assets only.

Hope this helps.

Keep well,
Mike

This is all hearsay and take from it what you wish.

Aberstar is a company expressly created to attempt to find freight for lease to own Peterbilt straight truck "owners" answering an ad for $3000-$5000 a week

That said, it's a real transport company, as real as any other. And the owner-ops are really motivated to make that payment!

This is not posted in any way to detract from their particular business model. I myself am a graduate of Alumni-bunk / Financial Transport school of hard knocks, where I had the privilege of paying $23,000 in lease payments and $10,000 in down payments and buyouts for a used Ford E350 with over 400,000 kms on the clock at purchase time

I believe I could survive any economic hardship put my way due to that advanced training. Any current drivers with Aberstar using that model?

They are on our DNU list, it was like pulling teeth with Janet, but did get paid for invoices that were 138 days old. Just have to keep calling and bugging them. Been told they moved again, so who knows.
