Aberstar is a company expressly created to attempt to find freight for lease to own Peterbilt straight truck "owners" answering an ad for $3000-$5000 a week
That said, it's a real transport company, as real as any other. And the owner-ops are really motivated to make that payment!
This is not posted in any way to detract from their particular business model. I myself am a graduate of Alumni-bunk / Financial Transport school of hard knocks, where I had the privilege of paying $23,000 in lease payments and $10,000 in down payments and buyouts for a used Ford E350 with over 400,000 kms on the clock at purchase time
I believe I could survive any economic hardship put my way due to that advanced training. Any current drivers with Aberstar using that model?
