Wow, we just started the vetting process on these guys, deciding to cancel the whole process and to put them on our DNU list (some story about owner operators of theirs putting out false info on the firm). We just went through a double-brokering situation, having to get lawyers involved, despite having a carrier broker agreement signed with the NO DOUBLE BROKERING CLAUSE. Thank you, Inside transport community.

While paying this, I had a lawyer advise me on how to do about it, let’s hope it all goes smoothly.
Can I ask why you chose to pay this?

Like Jim said, if they did double broker it... you are going to have the same problem here shortly.

keeping everyone up to speed, they said the cheque was in the mail, followed by payment will be made today. Legal proceedings have started. Stay away at all cost

And finally got the call for the 3rd shipment. Another double brokering and another carrier not getting paid.

Avoid, avoid, avoid.

My two cents as if anyone needed anymore - we gave N-T 2 loads. One end of May, and one end of June. Both have been double brokered and both carriers hauling were not paid.

Does anyone recognize this load or know which broker/3PL originally handled it?

Pickup: June 22, 2026
Origin: Emballages Performant Inc., Cowansville, QC
Delivery: June 26, 2026
Destination: Enterprise Paper Co. Ltd., Calgary, AB

The load was tendered through NT Logistics / 1001396248 Ontario Inc.

I’m trying to identify the original broker/3PL or customer behind this shipment.

If anyone recognizes the shipper, consignee, load number, lane, or has any information about who originally tendered this load, please message me

I would avoid using this carrier at all cost, they moved two shipments for us flawlessly.

We gave them a third shipment that had very strict delivery times at Costco. It was supposed to deliver Friday at 7 AM. We could not reach anybody until Tuesday when they told us it did not deliver.

At which point they held our freight and demanded we pay the previous two invoices along with this invoice before they delivered ( we are net 30 and neither ship shipment was over 15 days at that point)

We ended up figuring out where the freight was and had to go pick it up, it was supposed to be Nova Scotia and it was in Ontario, we lost $3000 on the load

We told them we would not pay the two first invoices since we had caught them double broker until 90 days had passed, that way we could make sure that they didn’t double broker both of those also

We ended up getting sued, they brought the shipper and receiver into the lawsuit. We ended up paying both invoices to resolve the issue.

This was about a month ago, and they have still not closed the court filing and are ignoring calls from everyone.

I’ve never wrote a bad review before, but my hopes are that other small companies don’t get roped into something like this.
Hello,

Approximately three months ago, we completed a shipment from Alberta to Ontario for 1001396248 Ontario Inc. dba NT Logistics, but unfortunately, we have still not received payment for our invoice.

We have been trying to contact them by phone and email, but they are not answering our calls and have not responded to any of our emails.

Based on the information we have gathered, there is a strong possibility that the load was originally obtained from another broker and then double-brokered to us. At this time, the shipper and receiver are also trying to determine who the load was originally tendered to so that we can identify the parties involved.

I understand that you may have gone through a legal proceeding involving 1001396248 Ontario Inc. dba NT Logistics. If so, you may have obtained the names and contact information of the individuals involved, in addition to the 2 County Court Blvd. address.

If you have any names, phone numbers, email addresses, or other contact information that you can legally share with me, I would greatly appreciate it.

We are trying to reach the responsible individuals as soon as possible regarding our unpaid invoice and would sincerely appreciate any information you can provide.

Hi Meelo

Thanks for your help. We already have this information, and our accounting department has been trying to reach them as well.

I also tried calling them from 416-561-0333, as well as another number we found, but unfortunately, no one answered.

I really appreciate your help and your efforts.

I am reaching out to other transportation companies that may have done business with 1001396248 Ontario Inc. dba NT Logistics.

Based on our experience and the information we have gathered so far, we have serious concerns that this company may have been involved in a double-brokerage arrangement, where transportation loads were arranged through another broker or intermediary and the carriers that actually performed the transportation were not paid for their services.

Our concern is not simply that this company failed to pay our invoice. We believe that we were deliberately misled regarding the transaction, and we have now been able to contact the actual broker involved in our shipment. Based on the information we received, we have concerns that NT Logistics may have obtained loads through double brokering and retained the transportation funds without properly paying the carrier that performed the work.

We have also found it difficult to pursue normal collection procedures because there appears to be very limited verifiable information regarding the individuals behind the company and its actual operating location. As a result, we are now trying to determine whether other carriers have experienced similar situations.

If NT Logistics owes you money for transportation services and you have not been paid, please contact me.

I would like to gather information from other carriers that may have had similar experiences, including:

  • Load or shipment information
  • Amount owed
  • Date of pickup and delivery
  • Load confirmation or rate confirmation
  • POD/BOL
  • Invoices and payment history
  • Information regarding the broker or company that originally tendered the load
  • Any communications with NT Logistics regarding payment
Our intention is to collect sufficient information to determine whether there is a broader pattern involving multiple carriers.

If the information supports our concerns, we intend to make formal reports to the appropriate authorities regarding what we believe may be a fraudulent double-brokerage scheme, including reporting the matter to the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre and any other appropriate regulatory or law-enforcement authorities.

If you have had a similar experience with 1001396248 Ontario Inc. dba NT Logistics, please contact me directly. Any information you provide will be treated seriously and used only for the purpose of documenting the situation and determining the appropriate next steps.
