72 hrs vehicle- here we go again
today we arrived at US Customs to find the notorised manufaturers certificate of origin wasn't acceptable due to the fact that the serial # from Caterpillar only showed 10 digits and needed the preceeding 7 digits which are the model number need to be listed on the certificate. Thus we were rejected, and needed to start the 72 hrs all over again. The Customs officers in the vehicle export department are all on power trips, they don't have any sense of providing a service, they won't answer there phone, only leave a message and we will get back to you, can't call you when they do receive notice of your pre-arrival to say you may be lacking in information or whatever they might find wrong. The system is just wrong. Is there some way this sytem can be changed!!!
