Truxora INC gave the loads to the carriers, Once the load is delivered, they disappeared. Adiitionally, Truxora Inc change their contact numbers after every shipment delivered and stop replying the emails for the payment. Moreover, they do double broke every load with their broker partners. They are doing frauds with the carriers, even their partners do not cares rather they stay silent and do not want to release the payments.

STAY ALERTED FROM TRUXORA INC AND THEIR PARTNERS. THEY ARE DOING FRAUDS ON THE LARGE SCALE.

Well, they hold the payments and disappear after the load was delivered by the carrier. In addition, they change their contact numbers so that no one can reach out to them in regards to payments. Even they ghosted on the emails and decided not to reply to the emails for the payment.

So you gave a load to a broker that's been around for 1 year with an Alberta Phone Number but they dont have any trucks and either does their NL counterpart.

Ignorance and not vetting properly will do that to ya. I feel that nowadays with the inexperienced people in this racket enables more theft and dishonesty its much easier for the bad guys to operate when your not diligent.
Sorry this happened but I mean a red Flag is a Red Flag.

Truxora gave us a load and our factoring company approved them. At this point, we have not thought about Red Flag and we get to know when they stop replying for the payment. Additioanlly, when we talked to the shipper they mentioned the other broker which we have not contacted before, From here we get to know that they double broke the shipment with their partner broker.
There are many brokers in the market these days who wants to deduct or decide not to release the payment.
We had a broker Mutual Transportation, we delieverd the load with them successfully, at the end they decided to deduct the money without concering us. The deduction is for the other shipment which we cancelled a day ago. Broker said we signed the contract with them with terms and conditions, However, we have not signed any.

I saw this too.
Way too many warning signs with these guys.
Hopefully a lesson was learned.

Yes, but these are only three brokers mentioned in the conversation. Who knows how many in the market running their business with fradulent activities.
That is very probably true, which means that if you decide to deal with any new supplier, the onus is on YOU to check them out before you haul their freight. It doesn’t matter if you are a broker looking to use a new carrier, or a carrier looking to work with a new broker. You must review and research absolutely everything about them. Where are they located, what are their references, are they properly licensed and insured, how long have they been in business, what are there payment terms……everything and then even more! The most thorough vetting system can still leave a small gap for a rat to slip in, but at least you have narrowed that gap and reduced your chances of getting screwed. It’s unfortunate and very time consuming to perform all these checks, but it is worth it in the end. This market is very tight and no one can afford to let money slip away because of sloppy vetting.

Yes, we have to investigate every gap of the companies we are going to work with them so that the payment will be released. However, there are many slips a company makes even after researching everything, does anyone have a set of investigations or steps to follow?

After your research is conducted and still 50/50, use Inside Transport.
It's the best tool this industry has to offer.
Post on the forum and you will usually get a response quickly.

A tool box big enough to hold every available tool to prevent being scammed, has yet to be invented.
only thing that has saved my ass to this point is I believe the if we have not heard nor seen your equipment you are wasting both our times calling as we will not use not known entities..Joe's trucking from Podunk etc we get the calls and emails and I actually enjoy stringing them along ( depending on if I am bored or not)

E.G not going to Shame any carrier on this comment but I just had a carrier show up with his " Local Truck " to pick up 150000 usd load .

Prior to booking the truck I had vetted said carrier and all seems ok. No trucks on this lane

So here is how this went I will point out easy flags.

1. So always ask for Truck and Trailer number arriving for the pick up!! Relay this to the shipper ask them to make sure this matches any decent shipper will appreciate and totally make sure that info matches.
2. Say your scrambling no trucks you worked all day and then boom you get a carrier Phew!!
His Rate like 1000 more then usual. ugh need to get this going ok you agree. and you send the confirmation. ( what this does is open the door to DBL Brokering because of the so called emergency service this carrier is supposedly doing for you )

Today truck shows up Tractor doesn't match said beat it. end of conversation.
They will beg plead and say that they have only your interest in mind do no give in do not load that truck. Even if its the company you hired Trailer. Says Local guy picking it for them.

ok lets vet this further then Local guy picking up for a carrier with 3 trucks come on Flag.

you have no insurance for this local guy what if said local guy runs over a family of four then what happens?

Relationships with Shipper are key you have to be diligent to make sure you vet these guys to protect your shipper thats what your paid for.
