LOAD LINK PRICE

Why haven't people switched to a competitor? what are the competitors missing that load link has besides the large member base. this type of service should really only cost between 100-200 per month.
Seems like the issue is the only time a competitor would have a shot at actually being successful is in a freight rich market. New company can start up but might get 5% of the postings that the link has, and people will lose interest quickly. "I tried XYZLOADZ, it sucked". If there is a lot of freight, they might see a competitive increase in postings.
Unfortunately trucking companies and brokers are busy as heck during high volume periods and probably can't be arsed to worry about getting involved with a new and improved load board.

Do you have a website for them ?

Holy, those prices are insane, what package do these people have... I do not pay anywhere near that amount... mind you, I just have a basic broker package to post freight...

Loadlink is the worth hellhole in this business for carriers, their marketing is only directed at hurting carriers as much as possible, they don't need to be regulated, they need to be abandoned in mass until they are bankrupt, they always claim a relationship with DAT in the US and they (DAT) always call them their sister company, which they are not, at least I couldn't find any ownership relationship based in shares ownership etc. What seems possible is that the Link logistics pays DAT a huge fee for their US load posting access, lately I've heard that they are pressuring the DAT to stop providing services to any Canadian companies that are subscribed directly with them, something that most companies can avoid by setting their main address in the US. I saw a posting from a member asking why carriers just don't use other load matching services, my personal opinion it's that brokers are the one sort of preventing that migration, Link probably charges brokers a lot less so they know carriers will gravitate around brokers because of the know reasons, there are companies like Internet truck stop that technologically are very similar to the link and their full services cost around US$155 a month, (I have no relationship with them other than a basic US$42 subscription) I think that they are not doing a good marketing job going after load brokers accounts, if they were just by adding around fifty Canadians brokers with special promotions they would create a massive and steady migration of carriers and brokers into their load board, Loadlink deserves to be left alone for that consistent abuse they have carried out against the industry for years.

Probably you are a broker so it's understandable they will charge you a lower price, their abuse is with carriers, they know carriers are depending on brokers so they screw them as much as they want, in any other area they would be called predatory companies, I've got a lot of worse names I can call them.

I'm not a lawyer, but that sure looks like it could violate antitrust or anti-competition laws. If someone with the resources decided to pursue it, it might even have the potential for a class action

Yes, you are right, however as I said before I'd wish the Internet Truck Stop would do a better marketing job enticing load brokers to their load board, that would create an immediate carriers migration which could place a RIP sign on the Link doors.

Haven't really been any contenders. Remember Loadsurfer way back in the 2000's? They didn't last.

Truckstop is a solid board i agree, that would really give DAT and Link a run for their money if they did a better job at broker outreach, heck make it free for TIA brokers

That would be a great idea, in the beginning brokers wouldn't even have to leave Loadlink entirely but just do a double posting or their loads, once they see carriers moving to the ITS then make the big desertion, I can assure the scrooges at LL wouldn't last one month.

They let you folks on cheap a carrier are the ones get racked over the coals. Same as everything else in trucking,
Yeah, that isn't right, even when I'm on the good end of the stick, crazy.

Loadlink seems to increase their pricing at will and make software changes without properly considering the impact on users. Their customer service is disappointing — managers often don’t take concerns seriously or provide proper support.

Compared to other load boards like Truckstop and DAT, which typically charge $100–$250/month, Loadlink’s pricing is excessive at nearly $1,000/month. Other platforms also offer far more flexibility — you can access them from anywhere without unnecessary restrictions.

Loadlink, on the other hand, imposes strict access limits and even forces users to install their Guardian app on personal devices just to continue using their service. That approach feels invasive and unfair, especially for the price they charge.

It's simple really...

They charge it because they can.

Their current corporate culture is "they don't care if you're a customer or not".

Until Canadian Carriers and Brokers choose to migrate to another service... That's not going to change.

We tried Truckstop and quite liked it. We discontinued only because of the lack of Canadian carriers.

What did your TruckStop account cost you per month?
