Seems like the issue is the only time a competitor would have a shot at actually being successful is in a freight rich market. New company can start up but might get 5% of the postings that the link has, and people will lose interest quickly. "I tried XYZLOADZ, it sucked". If there is a lot of freight, they might see a competitive increase in postings.Why haven't people switched to a competitor? what are the competitors missing that load link has besides the large member base. this type of service should really only cost between 100-200 per month.
Unfortunately trucking companies and brokers are busy as heck during high volume periods and probably can't be arsed to worry about getting involved with a new and improved load board.
