yes, they emailed us stating they are working on clearing up payments. Something isn't right. They are usually prompt to pay.Have you checked their portal? That's really the only way they operate and pay

Pride driver said his dispatcher told him that possibly by the end of June or early July the trucking end of Pride will be shut down.I saw they laid off quite a few people this week from their logistics side.
I've heard the same thing, it just winding down slowlyPride driver said his dispatcher told him that possibly by the end of June or early July the trucking end of Pride will be shut down.

correct. With the intention of the sale closing, or operations being wound down by July 31, 2024, according to the court documents. Their goal clearly is to find a buyer to take over it as an existing operation and continuing to run it.Well the whole Pride logistics business is up for sales according to court documents.
Especially in these market conditions of high interest rates and low freight rates.correct. Personal opinion- highly unlikely, given that the only competitive advantage they used to compete was consistently lowering prices/rates, I personally doubt that any potential buyers will see the business as sustainable in an ongoing state.
i highly dounts they lower rates because they hire more than 2.5 exp driver with payroll not drivers inc. court docs also say they made 120million in logistics last year. Its for sale but its not written that they will close up if they dnt find any buyerEspecially in these market conditions of high interest rates and low freight rates.
Drivers and vendors should be cautious.

I would be looking for a job if i was you. Not saying they are going south but if they do I would be the guy that had thought ahead and had another job lined up. Not as easy to do as it was say even a year ago,As a employee i can tell you they are getting new contracts and daily 20+ lcv are moving towards montreal. I don't know anything about whether they are closing or not, but a piece of friendly advice, Sran39. If you are an owner operator, make sure you are using their fuel card, not your own credit card. I have seen many times when businesses close, owner operators are stuck holding the purse on their fuel purchases. Best of luck to you.yeah iam looking into it but last week i got my bonus. As a lcv owner operator pay is great in pgl plus scheduling is very convenient.
Do owner operators not normally pay for their own fuel?I don't know anything about whether they are closing or not, but a piece of friendly advice, Sran39. Yes, I understand that, but a true owner operator bears the cost of the fuel purchase as an operating expense regardless of if it was purchased on a fleet account or on a personal card. Previous post made it sound like the expectation was for the fuel cost for the owner operator should be reimbursed to them? Not in most places, our owner ops use our cards and we charge them the fuel back. Better for them as they can get fuel at a fleet price rather than retail.
