Exactly. They are one of Nestle’s main carriers and have been for years. We had a few crumbs of that business but were always losing it to Pride undercutting the rates. They will be able to continue operations under the supervision of their creditors. It is my understanding that the Royal Bank is in their office daily keeping an eye on things.

I can’t say for sure, but perhaps the real estate deals completed before any official bankruptcy may not become part of the public record. Another property belong to the Johals was sold in the Cornwall area recently to a Quebec based truck dealer group. It is a complicated matter involving quite a few moving parts. As is to be expected in cases like this, especially in a relatively close knit industry like ours, there is going to be rampant speculation and presumption. None of which however excuses the derogatory comments expressed in a recent post.

Weird you claimed your company bought 55 of Prides flatbeds all rolltights…but Pride only had 40 trailers and 10 were tandem wagons…i know Pride drivers using them every day multi axle???BTW tell your dummy drivers at Mak steel to move the fuck out of the way to tie down their shit instead of tying up the crane like morons….

Not to get into the middle of this, but @CDNFLATBED makes a great point on how our society seems more inclined to complain or video someone else's actions instead of offering their knowledge of the situation to help. That is certainly a trait that is not evolving but dying.

Not to be in the middle of it either, I may say that myself, being every day on the front line, always trying to give my best advice and share my knowledge, BUT...Most of the times it's completely ignored with excuses such " I'm here every day", " who are you to tell me" or just plain walking away and doing their stupid staff...

LOL I pulled into the brake check at the top of the "smasher" on Sunday afternoon and a New Canadian goes by me with what looked like a tarped load of beaver biscuits on. The back end of his tarp had come undone and was dragging on the ground. When i had finished my brake check i pulled up beside him and started to walk over to tell him about the tarp and he just about run me over cussing and swearing at me in Punjabi. Must have been a high quality brake check he did if he didn't see it. Down the smasher he went full throttle.
