Scam Chaser - is Potenza Logistics the same as Potena Enterprizes Inc.? I've got the latter in my system but it's an old vendor, wondering if it's the same one or if they're linked so I can put them on the DNU list - address was 2255B Queen St E. in Toronto 416-690-4190.So Forte Logistics' director was Saverio Panetta who unfortunately passed away September 11, 2023 as a result of a motorcycle accident. After his death, Bruno d'Allesandro assumed the directorship of the corporation, and shut down the location in Vaughan. Shortly thereafter, Bruno shut down Forte and commenced brokering freight under the name of Potenza Logistics Inc., from his leased condo by Lake Ontario.

We have a bunch of invoices that are well past outstanding
I see this is your first post on InsideTransport. Just to clarify, you wrote that the broker (Potenza) "factors everything so us carriers are paid no matter what". As a general rule, it is not only bad policy for brokers to factor invoices but some of us believe it is also illegal, as the broker is not the beneficial owner of the entire invoice if based in Ontario, and the factoring company is assuming a risk in advancing money to the broker on an invoice the broker does not fully own. We’ve used Potenza numerous times. They always pay on time and the customer service is fantastic. I heard about their past Forte mess and issues but I know the Bruno guy underwent heart surgery and the owner Saverio is dead. We have had no issues at all with the Bruno guy or his CS team and will continue to do business with them as we always get paid on time. Haven’t been screwed over once. I know they factor everything so us carriers are paid no matter what. Sorry to see other carriers that had issues with the Forte company but Potenza seems legit and respectful so far.
