If this is the case, then I can say from as far as service goes as a carrier (pertaining to the aforementioned Hans Truckline), everything went as scheduled, no issues!

I don’t think I am alone on this issue but it disturbs me to see yet another example of a “carrier” occasionally assuming the role of a “broker”. Don’t get me wrong, I fully understand and appreciate that many asset based carriers have separate and properly registered brokerage divisions. Those aren’t (I hope) the problem. It is the ones who appear regularly on this site wearing both hats. Making matters worse is when they are tardy payers while acting as a broker. If I sell one of my customers loads to a “carrier”, I fully expect that carrier to perform the transportation. If they can’t, for whatever reason, then I also expect them to advise me of the problem so that together we can find a solution, not just assign my load to whomever they can place it with. This little rant is in no way directed to Hans Transport. They just appear to be another example of this dual role some carriers assume.

If the high school dropouts in Ohio can slang freight like no tomorrow I'm sure it can't be that difficult. Carriers have direct customer freight too, and sometimes in surplus, but I 100% agree, pay your carriers on time, especially if your customer is paying your bills in a timely manner.

Wanted to chime in on payment trends, we did a local move for them and Hans paid in 30 days. Would work with them again if it comes our way.
