haven't matched in a log time but I found it was communication issue when things didn't go well or were delayedLots of mixed opinions on this carrier, They did two loads recently and both had issues. Has thee been a change in personnel or are some lanes better serviced than others?

I will let the original broker who contracted them know about that option. They should make that decision to inform if they paid the factoring company. The factor will not pay me.As of Feb 2022 Avalon Translink factored their invoices through Revolution Capital | Baron Finance.
I always like to reach out to the factoring companies when I find a carrier is double brokering.
Funds were received late last night. (6.30PM) via Interac. The supposed cheque that was mailed on Mar 4 did not show up by the end of the week 3. They did what they said they'd do and pay it electronically if I didn't receive it, but it took all day for them to process it and then it came after business hours.We have an invoice outstanding over 100 days. We were promised a cheque was put in the mail over two weeks ago and it did not arrive. After the first week we confirmed the address was correct - they sent a remittance advise to which was the address is correct. Two weeks after the mail date we asked for a follow up but did not receive any material response - they replied that they were checking. The next day we demanded payment by EOB or it will be sent to collections which went unresponsive.
The invoice was sent to collections to which Avalon finally responded that the cheque was mailed on the day they said previously and wait for it until the end of the week. I've been down this road before - the always wait for another day scenario to which it never comes. Canada Post never takes more than 2 days from GTA.
Collections also identified that the load was double brokered. We have reached out to the original broker who was really upset that their customer has already received a call from collections. The original broker paid Avalon quite quickly and are frustrated that they have to now deal with it.

Hi Jim, I asked Avalon and they said "No its not revoked, We just changed the ins company and this will get updated on FMCSA in 24 hr"2643993 Ontario Inc DBA Avalon Translink has had their FMCSA authorities revoked - surprise surprise. Northbridge cancelled their policy before the year was up.

Thanks Jim, please let us know if it changes by Monday. I was thinking of putting them on a load for Wednesday pickup. Appreciate your help!I checked the FMCSA website as promised. They are still in revoked status regardless of what Avalon says or thinks. I guess everyone has the weekend off.
