Avalon Translink

Hi Jim, I asked Avalon and they said "No its not revoked, We just changed the ins company and this will get updated on FMCSA in 24 hr"
I checked again after today's FMCSA update, just for good measure and to give the benefit of the doubt if it's due, but alas, still not approved. Their INTACT insurance policy is posted but FMCSA has not approved just yet.

Thank you for checking Jim, we went with another carrier for our shipment this week.

Thanks Jim, please let us know if it changes by Monday. I was thinking of putting them on a load for Wednesday pickup. Appreciate your help!
I checked the FMCSA website as promised. They are still in revoked status regardless of what Avalon says or thinks. I guess everyone has the weekend off.
I'll check again on Monday.

hello Jim,

can you please check and advise if everything is good now .

We hauled load for Avalon Translink in Jan 2024.
And they have not paid us since then.
When we reached out to them, they made excuses and kept postponing the payment.
Later after some time they started neglecting our calls and sometimes when they responded- Diljit spoke to our staff (who were following up on the payment) in a rude and unprofessional way.
And now again they have stopped responding and not paying us our rightful money. Our experience with them is not good till date.

If you hauled the load in January and invoiced in January, you should have started serious collections efforts by the end of February. Certainly by March, you should have been calling the shipper to discuss their participation in getting you paid and consulting with a legal professional regarding further action. It is now the end of August, seven months after you invoiced this low life. Overdue invoices do not get paid by doing nothing. Either get serious about your collection issues, or resign yourself to work for free. Sorry to sound harsh, but after seven months it is more your fault that you haven’t been paid. It is your money…..go after it!

thank you for your expert advice which we did not asked for. but we have been following up with them. try to read and understand the flow. we have been following up with them from feb, but they have not paid us. seems you have sympathy for those who a bad pay master. keep it up, you must be of the same kind. if not then help us in getting our payment. thank you for your so-called no help.
One thing is for sure, it is your money. If you don’t want to get paid, then keep doing what you’re doing. My sympathies lie with you, not the dead beat, which is why I am trying to encourage you to take more forceful actions to resolve this bad debt. As anyone will tell you, seven months waiting to get paid is as much your fault as the dead beat’s. It is well past the time for “following up” with them.

thank you for your support and encouragement.

Call the shipper and call the consignee. If you have a valid BOL with your company name on it, one of those parties must pay you, or they will call the broker and you'll get paid from them.

Loaders is encouraging you to call everyone on the BOL.

Good luck,
Mike

Hope you get information required we are not moving them

We use to use them on occasion. Typically no issues. Avalon also has very flashy dry vans and they are easy to recognise. I would recommend them and try to build a good relationship with them.
