They are both listed at 205 Doney Cres in my system and we have given work to both and would do so again as there was no issues with either division.

This post is completely unrelated, but it did get me thinking. Does anybody remember a Transam Trucking/Transport/Properties that operated out of the Stoney Creek area? It was run by a guy named Don McMaster.

Yes... Don was a good guy... He had a woman dispatcher that was great to deal with (I forget her name - because I'm old). Ran a lot of MI & IN if I recall.

That’s it Nawk. Damn what was that women’s name? You’re right she was good. Don was a good guy and ran a tight ship. Thanks for confirming my memory!

Don McMaster had a lot of freight under his control at one time. Guys like Lacey and Ronnie Hart got their start with or through Don and his contracts.

Now we’re taking a trip down memory lane! Lacey Dalton and Ron Hart were some of the first phone calls I made trying to move my loads out of the US back in the nineties. Cliff Hall, Double D, Fairway, Wiersma, Mid America (not so good) and many others whose names escape me. I have to give credit to the good work that many of these long gone companies provided. It was the professional service they gave that allowed my young, upstart company to prosper.
