Is anyone get paid recently? We did a load for them in June and found out they went bankruptcy right after.

$572,000 is not even 4 new trucks, I just did monkey math on what the value of our rolling fleet is and I suggest don't do it because the return sucks (but we who own equipment already know that). Is there any paperwork on this bankruptcy? They don't owe us any money but always like to see who we should worry about if they got hit to hard.

ASAP. Did you receive the bankruptcy docs? You can still go after the shipper and receiver . You should contact the receiver as he will most likely pay you once you advise him he is in receipt of trust money.( If the carrier received payment)

The carrier would only be in “receipt of trust money”, if he had set up and used a trust account as mandated by the Ontario HTA for anyone brokering freight. Chances are more than likely they did not. There might still be some recourse for those unpaid carriers by persuing the shipper provided all of their paperwork is in order and they employ the services of an experienced transportation lawyer, or paralegal.

but they were based in Quebec

Then,,,,never mind. No trust fund regulations in Quebec that I am aware of.
