World Wide Carriers seeks creditor protection, files NOI

I am hearing they are back in business with the names World Wide and Evergreen, two separate companies. Anyone else come across Evergreen or the "new" World Wide?

Evergreen.... just based on the name play alone it would be a hard DNU for some. They are not the Evergreen Group, why the name play? World Wide, Evergreen, someone seems to want to appear larger and are willing to play the name game imo.

Can you please share where you saw this?

The new company info I have is 2540498 Ontario Inc (evergreen transport) MC#1714036, DOT #4374763. This one is not set up in bolton, like all the other World Wide affiliates. This company address is in Brampton, ON. Manu and Rimple are the contacts.

MC1714036 is a newly setup carrier and shows only one truck. If you're willing to consider giving loads to a company like this, or you're worried that it might slip through the cracks, you should seriously look over your protocols for acquiring carriers.
