Wolverton Transport

I got an update from Loadlink, apparently Wolverton are not going to pay because one of their other customers(completely unrelated to us) didn’t pay them two years ago……….?really, that’s their excuse! Wolverton have two non payment strikes against them with Link but continue to use Loadlink until they get a third strike. If Wolverton hasn’t paid you please forward a complaint to [email protected] or [email protected]. Let’s get Wolverton blocked from booking other carriers they will never pay……….. please help a brother out! Thank you Gord

Stopping them from LoadLink won't help you get paid - in fact it might hinder it. Help yourself, get a lawyer and go through Small Claims Court and name the shipper and receiver. Someone will clear it up - if its only for principal only then do it.

Unfortunately, your carrier confirmation from them probably indicated 60 day terms and more important, your agreement not to contact their customers looking for freight payment.

If they did not pay within the 60 day terms then they violated their own contract commitment so I would say that all bets are off. Now the gloves come out. You said it yourself - anything can be fought in court.

We did get paid and Loadlink helped us get the money from Wolverton, they have two complaints against them and the next time they don’t pay a carrier their account will be suspended by Loadlink apparently. We will avoid doing any work for Wolverton.
We've reached out to William as well. Will update.

Meant to update earlier but the check did bounce.
Then they called us to haul some freight we had posted?
Hey JackBurton... Sorry to hear about the bounced cheque... That really sucks!

Have you by any chance been in touch with their customer? You should really contact them to let them know what happened, as they are still liable to pay you for this work.

Good Luck!
