Has anyone had any experience with Whiteliner out of Oshawa.
Owes me over $5,000 after I quit as a company driver and is playing games about paying me even though I have fulfilled all my obligations as a driver.
 
Seddon, did you quit on good terms, did you give your 2 weeks notice, were you being paid as a "company" driver or "Limited" company driver?
 
HATE when people play these games with paycheques, Lowmiller is 100% correct...they cannot hold ANY moneys from you for ANY reason at all you must be paid everything you are due! Labour Board will be the quickest and simplest way for you to get your money, don't waste anymore time with their stall tactics.

Yes, I gave him 3 weeks notice. I was a company driver, I don't have a limited company. I quit on good terms but he wasn't happy I quit because he has trouble getting drivers
 
Well then, if it was all good, then the employer must give you your last pay, including any vacation time pay and ROE within 7 days of your last day worked.

Doesn't matter if all good and happy warm feelings when you leave. If you are an employee you must be paid for time worked period. If any issues they must be dealt with separate from payroll.

I used to dispatch his truck for %, only for a short time. He was brutal to work with and the truck was junk.

The reefer would not cool proper, he owed me money but I was just glad to get rid of him.

I concur with KTaylor, the truck was junk, he was brutal to deal with and the reefer would not cool. I have a list as long as my arm of things that were wrong with the truck and reefer as well as many stories of things that happened while driving for him.That's basically why I quit. I went to the Canada Labour Board and will hopefully get paid.
