Ugh!!! Huff!!! Puff!!!! So picked a load and when booking it made sure to let the broker know:
1. We DO NOT have a team on this load
2. My driver will need to take a reset BEFORE reaching consignee

And then a day later get a call saying customer is livid as to why it takes four days to deliver a load!!!!!!! Can we do something about this reset .... OMG!

I sometimes get "our driver can deliver tomorrow ..we don't have a team but our driver runs paper logs". Ummm. no thanks..

All of the things discussed on the phone need to be replicated on the load confirmation.
tasuinam - What is the delivery date on your load con? Does it match the service time you indicated you would perform?
In either case, who would ask a carrier to perform an illegal activity (like breaking hours of service or resets)? Someone who doesn't care to be in this industry. Sad.

Keep well, keep safe,
Mike

Sure sounds like a communication breakdown, or perhaps the broker didn't tell his customer the truth about the delivery schedule. As Mike Jr correctly pointed out, if it isn't in writing it is just "he said, she said".

On the confirmation does it not have a pick up date and delivery date? This would indicate how many days it will take to delivery. if you received a confirmation with wrong date, you would have it corrected. I would think. That way you cover your you know what.

Sounds like the confirmation had no delivery date on it.
Our TMS system will not allow an order to be saved without important things like equipment type, dates in both pickup and delivery, also can't assign to a carrier for cross border without a customs broker being entered.

Tricks of the trade! :)
Keep well,
Mike
