Any one had any dealings with this company based out of Mississauga as far as payment history, good or bad. :):mad:

Do bout $5000.00 per month with them, have for 10 years.
They are very large 3PL and very solid. 45 days avg.
 
Perhaps the situation has changed at Wheels International.

Currently have a December 13th, 2012 invoice. Try to collect, many promises, cheque in the mail, now we can only get a/p voice mail with no return calls, we even tried to call the dispatcher and we get his voice mail only.

Any current payment info would be appreciated.

doesnt sound like Wheels, have dealt with them for years and they are 35 days like clockwork. The only thing is you better have all their referance numbers on your invoice and a POD or they will kick it back.

Richard - Extremely deceptive individual, screws up carriers with his BS.
Lorne - Cry baby, will beg you for a truck and promise you steady freight and then you will never hear from him. At one time, he even threatened if we don't give him the truck , he would blacklist us.

Horrible payers too... gotta remind them every week.
1. Fraudsters.
2. Misguiding carriers.
3. Horrible payers
4. Cheap and heavy freight broker.


Bunch of crooks - don't use this company.
 
I have booked quite a few loads with Lamiaa over the past few months. I have found her to be very pleasant and she has not cancelled a load with me to date. And I have had no problems for many years with the accounting side of things. This is just my experience, but I thought I would add in to the thread.
 
Sometimes that personalities are a little tough to handle but always been a solid customer as far as payment goes around 45 days. They are like all large companies find the people you want to work with inside the organization and only deal with them.

Don't work with Richard - you will be safe. We are trying to collect an invoice due from 4 months and no replies.
They call you and blackmail if you don't haul for them.
 
As long as you provide a P.O.D and show their reference numbers on invoice you should get paid in 40-45 days.

Lorne should be selling clothes or mattresses not freight. When a problem comes along Lorne will hide. One time I was so mad at him that I didn't want to talk to him anymore and asked for his manager. Two minutes later Lorne called me from the bathroom crying and begging me not to speak to his manager. True story. I forgave him as it was so sad.

Yes Lorne sure can cry and whine to get a truck but as stated if a problem arises or as he often has forgot to tell you about crappy appointments or shippers that take forever to load he sure can hide at that point. Wheels averages 50 days to pay us.

Another thing Wheels in general does that drives me nuts is with appointments. They will never give you your delivery appointment for when you ask or even close so if I book appointment freight with them now I just call and set my own and when they call you at 4.45 pm( their typical mo) to tell you the crappy time they have for you I just spring it on them that I have an appointment I can live with.
 
I have been on and off of the site for a little while as we have been extremely busy but have a noticed a new member by the name of kenworthking and have seen a few of his postings on here and this individual seems to be a very negative and angry individual, Everybody is entitled to opinions and offer insight to the conversations but man oh man nothing like being a little sour, Kenworthking life is to short turn that frown up side down, just an observation on my part

DWC - There was another thread where this member went a little overboard name calling etc, the posts were deleted and kenworthking we hope understands that this forum is about sharing ideas and helping people prevent headaches.
