Hi everyone,

I’d love to get some insights from this fantastic community of trucking professionals about your daily workflows and how technology could help make things run more smoothly. We all know the trucking industry is all about tight schedules and constant coordination, but sometimes it feels like we’re stuck spending too much time on repetitive tasks that could probably be automated.
Here are a few key questions I’d love your thoughts on:

1. What’s the most repetitive task you deal with every day? (For example: scheduling loads, processing invoices, tracking shipments, etc.)

2. Are there parts of your workflow that feel like a waste of time?

3. What’s one thing you wish your Transportation Management System (TMS) could do better?

4. If you could automate one task to save time or reduce errors, what would it be?

The goal here is to pinpoint common pain points and brainstorm ways to simplify our work through automation. Your input might even spark ideas for better tools and solutions that could benefit the whole industry.

I’m looking forward to hearing your thoughts—let’s share some ideas and find ways to make our workdays more efficient!

Thanks so much for taking the time to share your experiences!

We've automated the generation of routine or scheduled orders, automated our invoicing and pod image and document quality review and approval process, we've automated our shipment notifications for free time expired, and shipment status... (no more calling clients to advise load is picked/delivered etc) We've automated our navigation interface for drivers, they aren't required to enter a destination addr when navigating to a pickup or delivery. We've automated some of our reporting.

We've automated scheduling of time off management for drivers, we've also utilize our tech stack to assist with DVIR and other repetitive daily tasks drivers perform.

we've automated our LTL and Courier Messenger dispatching... 90% + of all orders are dispatched automatically to the applicable driver using many proven algorithms.

Computers do the work, and humans just baby sit the computer. Its nice to have a extensive in-house tech team to build solutions for our various teams.

From my perspective, inputting data from IFTA reports. It would be SO much more better to have that automated by AI! Let me know if you can build something.

Forgot about an important automation, JSON API endpoints provided to clients to facilitate tracking, quoting and booking via any inhouse interface that supports JSON or RESTful web services. This allows integration with our direct clients and also many "Rate Shopping Services"
