Hamilton to KY use to pay $1420.00 But thanks to 2 companies in Stoney Creek and this 1 it now pays $900.00 and the loads are still moving. Some people have to get their heads out of their asses and get with the real world here in 2009.[/QUOTE
It would be nice if we could all get any amount we want to haul freight but that is not reality. Rates are driven by supply and demand and in today's environment you have to be very resourceful to make a buck. If I had freight in Kentucky returning to Canada that paid large (and some freight does) then I certainly could afford to run for the $900.00 rate. You can not always blame the Shipper or the Broker, It is just good business to negotiate the best possible price. Don't we all do that when we are purchasing?
