Wellington Motor Freight

Wellington are the Bottom of the Bottom. They pretend like they are superstars online meanwhile all they have are below cost loads. When they are in trouble they will book you at a low rate but still doable but cancel on you last minute to give the load to a dirt cheap owner op. These guys are on Linked in pushing their own delusions of Gandeur pretending to be a multi Billion operation LOL

Well that's an empty statement try and get an LMIA pass all audits see how much you can abuse it
Partially correct, carriers in general have been known to abuse the program, that's a fact. However Service Canada has started cracking down hard on everyone who participates in the program banning the bad players and fining dirty immigration consultants, there is still a long way to go though.

We've had LMIA, previously LMO, for over a decade, and I stand by my statement: you can only "abuse" it once, audits are regular and drivers smarten up very quickly in Canada, any lawyer assisting their case will advise them of their rights and company gets fined and out of program instantly. If you know how to abuse it and become multimillionaire pm me maybe we can split the greatest profits of all.
I'm sure company like Wellington is farthest from any shady practices like screwing LMIA program. Not vouching for anything else.

Great to hear that you are playing by the rules but many are not like yourself, unfortunately. Deals are made under the table all the time, I hear about it every day when drivers ask about jobs and tell us their previous experience with their old employers, and those carriers are still doing it. Not to the extent you describe to be in the millions but enough to supplement their revenues.

Hahah now we have shifted to OINP - you're too late now.

<< do you see how easy it is to shift parameters and jump on another program

(FYI/PSA ALL MY DRIVERS ARE UNIVERSITY EDUCATED CANADIAN CITIZENS)

This is what I heard about them.
Group of 3-4 people came out of Caravan and formed this company. Initailly they were able to get Canada Post Contract and bought 100s of trailers and put fancy decal and then selling loads Power only. But now things have changed going down and down. operations people are ruthless, cant comment on ethnicity but yes definitely a lack of professionalism.
Fuze is no different. One bad day :) FLS staff was sitting in lunch room and planned to open a new company thinking WE CAN DO IT TOO!! ( not saying one should not think BUT like this and going after every FLS account is not ethical) 2 years down to road. FLS still going strong Acquired Scott Logistics from USA and whereas One person is already out of FUZE partnership and opened up another company.
Most expensive things to Achieve in Business is Honesty and Integrity. Good thing is You cant buy them with $$$,

Fuse started as soon as they sold FLS. It was always the play, opened Fuse as an HR company and expanded to logistics when the non-compete ended.

Not to sidetrack the conversation here but I must add, Fuze does everything FLS did but better at least our local office is like that, can't speak for the others. I did not like them initially but they are great to work with now and pay on time.
