Hi all,
A client of ours is asking us to warehouse their goods. Nothing out of the ordinary, but we normally just use our facility to load and offload our trucks. Can anyone offer input or send me a warehousing contract with terms and conditions that outline the limitations of our liability? I'm trying to see if it's worth it to store their goods, and what would happen if a damage to their goods were to occur. Basically, how can I limit my liability if I'm warehousing a pallet worth $5,000 . What are the normal limitations of liability for a warehouseman? There must be standard limitations for recourse. If I'm charging $10 a month to store a pallet, there is no way I'm paying 5k if I damage it....
Any input is appreciated.
Thanks guys!
