VTL Transport - Mississauga, ON

"ACCOUNTER' did they make you provide the originals before they paid you? or copies only?
interested to know.
 
We have also eat with Both Vtl transport in Montreal and in Mississauga. No issue regarding payments but Mississauga usually requests Originals. Montreal requires them from time to time. i have contact information both both payable department heads if you need, PM me. No issue with payments with either one of them.

Originals is what they made me send, In my opinion it sounds like an excuse to drag payment out. "terms wont start until I get originals"

Bill, what we have found is that they ask for originals so that they can impersonate that they moved the load rather than your company.
That way, if there is any issue down the road, there is no trace of you moving the load. This is an issue for carriers that are waiting to get paid and not asking for COD as at some point the money runs out.
if you check their CVOR online, its $5 to run a search, you will note that their CVOR and insurance was cancelled last year.

re: Montreal, this is Montreal Express, here in GTA, not the VTL that is located actually in Montreal.

Done some loads for Montreal express and both VTL
Never had any issues with any of them. They do ask for originals at the time th y book loads I've had no issue getting paid from any of these people.
Email them, I'm sure they'll get back to you
 
I look at load carrier agreement. They do ask me at booking time for me to supply Original POD. I supplied each time for VTL. Only one time i misplace it and they paie in 30 days and NOT Quickpaie. VTL Montreal paie me on time too.
 
Thank you for the responses, and hopes to help, we are actually the ones who hired VTL so they do not owe us any money.
however... as you can imagine, maybe one of you moved the load for us, as VTL brokered it back out.
this is the reason for this post. just to clarify as I am not sure I was clear. We are only cautioning those being hired, that the load you are moving, is another brokers, and you are 3rd in line.
 
Ahhhh, I see. thank you for the PM.. yes, no problem, each of those guys payee Qucikpaie each time as long as i have Original. Like i say, one time i lost the original so they only paie me at 30 days. in that case, this was my fault thank you for message to me.
 
I don't know about these guys and I don't care as long as I'm being paid. But. Wee are a lot of carriers/ double brokers that give us end carriers a hard time when it comes to accessorial chaeges. Wait time. Etc. I'm having that problem with Quaterback as we speak. But they're not he only ones. Don't deliver the freight until your client agrees to pay you in writing for these costs
 
Me too. There are good carrier and good Brokers. i see from this web page that many carriers close down. the same true about Brokers. I have worked for Quarterback myself. They are usually good to pay but i had to fight for my Weight time. In the end they paie me. I make sure any add on costs are by writing, the same for VTL and every client i have.
 
If you are referring to Mississauga, Email a guy by the name of John. A real nice guy who says he's cleaning up a mess from a previous manager. He seems to be a man of his word. manager@venturelinetransport.ca They've paid us up till in full except for existing recent shipments.
 
Does anyone have any current information on VTL? they offered quick pay... but once we delivered the shipment, they are telling us 40 days ....
 
I would hate to see what their "regular" payment terms are if quick pay is 40 days!
 
i don't now but i have bad feeling whit vtl .this company call me every week but hi don't now how he found my number .100% sure is continental freiht moving
 
I am receiving calls from a company called Transport North America, does anyone know if there is any relation with VTL / Montreal express etc ?
They advised that they have rucks in Canada to move freight, when I asked where their truck is they say "all over Canada", so it raised a red flag. most people know what they are looking for or what they can/cannot load.
Their phone# is listed on their email as 905-240-TNA1(8621) , no address when they email us daily as well. I googled the phone# to match aadress of 201-58 Rossland Rd W, Oshawa, and it is residential. We are wary that trucks are all over Canada but the business does not display a location suitable for so many trucks to be "everywhere". Google also shows them as "Trans North American" rather than transport north America.

Any info would be appreciated.
