Kinda makes you wonder if it's being played back backwards (and was recorded with the trucks moving forward)...

Either way, cool commercial.

...I couldn't leave this alone....I guess Volvo says it was real....
Part of Volvo Trucks' "Crazy Stunts With Our Trucks" promotional campaign, this effort was apparently the first time JCVD had attempted his trademark stretch between two semis moving in reverse — and for those who doubt, Volvo maintains there's no computer-generated trickery or reverse filming underway. (That it demonstrates "Volvo Dynamic Steering" more than the awesomeness of the muscles from Brussels can and will be argued by future generations, but do note that the trailer on the semis stay straight while backing up.)

Van Damme has been known for stunts such as this...in the past. His ego would never allow for "tricks or gimmicks" - if he agreed to something - he did it based on his skill set....

I thought it was fantastic...still blown away...imagine that level of concentration - let alone add "talking" to the mix....
 
I agree DRC. I watched that video over and over again and was astounded by the talent, not only of him, but the drivers, the film crew. It was amazing all around!
 
Jean Claude-OMG I photographed him one time in CA at Universal Studios for a promo on a movie he did back in early 90's- he is a short man, and his body guard was like 6 feet tall, so he started yelling at him to not walk so close as it made him look too short! Then we had to go to his house and it was around noon time, he had a catered lunch and didn't offer me any food - It was amusing. Yes stunt wise he is talented...but his personality and hospitality sucks!
