Anyone have any knowledge of this company? Good, bad or indifferent?

I'd rather my team not use them unless there is no one else available.

We've also had run ins with them. When you press Walter to live up to his initial promise he becomes belligerent and threatens to turn it into a C.O.D. shipment.

It's not worth it as far as I'm concerned.

Same experience here. On our DNU list forever. Committed to an overnight lane on a shorthaul into Toronto. Picked up but when it came time for the delivery the next day he stared screaming at us about everything NOT to do with the shipment. Then showed up 2 days later DEMANDING the customer unload him NOW or there would be dire consequences....was so rude and aggressive. We still talk about it in the office now. Not worth it.....
PR.

Stay away, on our DNU. We had to get the police involved to finally get a load delivered. Walter is unreasonable, ignorant and simply rude. Once he was advised that he could not hold freight ransom, and demand unreasonable amounts of money for an issue/situation that was created by himself he finally delivered.

On our DNU list also.

Extremely high cancellation rate. I told Walter why, he didn't seem to care. Strange, I care a lot when a customer has a complaint about service. Fixing issues customers bring to your attention is the only way to keep them.

Keep well,
Mike

We just gave them a load to Long Island city NY and have to say they did fine delivered on time, but then again it was just a full load so kinda hard to fuck that up.

LOL,

My last LTL they picked up and then held it while they built other LTL on the lane. 3 business days later we had it picked up from their dock.

My issue is the same as others here, the 'I don't give a f__k" when we say we're picking it up. Asked for $200 for local pick up and crossdock. Now that was funny.

Keep well,
Mike

We had VNV booked on a backhaul yesterday from upstate NY back to the GTA - shipper was closing at 2pm for the holiday.
Traced the load in the morning and were told ETA 11:00am - Great.
11:00 - follow up - driver will be there any time.
Noon shipper asks for an ETA - VNV is checking - we re-post the load and get a driver on standby
1:30pm - we are told the driver is still in Brooklyn - ETA to pick up is 5:30pm - cancel the load.

generally VNV does a good job for us, but this was terrible the day before a holiday

We cut them off years ago. They did what they wanted, when they wanted, and then got aggressive and threatening when they didn't get what they wanted immediately.
