Did anyone else have a bad experience with these Jokers? 100 day old invoice and they still need a few more days to pay. Only when I gave them a deadline before calling thier customer did I get a commitment of when I can pick up a cheque. We delivered thier freight on time, yet they wont pay untill months after. How do these people get carriers to work for them? Who would do a second load?

Yeah,

I'm going through the same thing right now on an invoice dating back to April 19th.
He said that they did not receive the invoice until May 18th. I then asked him how they were able to bill their customer without a POD? Apparently, they don't know that they have to bill their customer until they receive an invoice and POD. (awesome system they have there)

I really don't see how these guys stay in business?
 
They told me they are not getting paid by their customer so they would not pay us. I told them they have an obligation to pay us and they told me to go f$^k myself.

Apparently, this is not the first time they pulled the "we are not getting paid by our customer" card.

I was told by Loft the same ......and look where that ended up !!!
 
Tell them you are going to report them to load link.
Also Dave is the son of Rob. You have to drive over to their office and sit there till they pay you.
That's what I had to do.
Someone needs to take a order from them and hold it.

just going through the same thing with these guys. I was told by Dave that the owner is thinking of closing.

call the shippers

I called the shipper - they have agreed to pay us.

They have had alot of carriers call.

Via Stada

Have used these guys for a while but their carriers are now calling me looking for payments for moves that happened many months earlier, for which Via Stada was paid. Rob will not return calls or e-mail. He is having his calls screened. On the DNU list going forward.

I worked with them , last year , one time , I had to do COMPLAIN to the LINK , after 100 days I got my money !
ON my DNU list !

We were doing some deliveries for Via Strada and were getting paid for our work. Since Aug 2010 Payment has stopped! We are owed money and get nowhere when we call looking for money. They did lie and say that a cheque was put in the mail for us but it didn’t arrive. I have contacted Load Link and have gotten nowhere with that? I don’t understand how they can still be doing business, who would work with them?

Maybe I need to sit in their office till I get payment! What a joke!

They are closing their doors in the New Year, so try to get your money before then!
