we have been working with this company for an year now , they ahve worked with us and got paid regularly. This time we gave them a load from ON to BC which they first delayed from ON , then they told us truck broke down at Thunder Bay. these were sealed loads and trailer could not be broken seal. Long story short they later took the freight to BC now threatening us to pay all the dues (apart from the load in concern). I have been trying to talk to their manager or senior all persons and dispatch claim they are the managers. I have been struggling and being blackmailed for no reason. We have raised complaint now and they are threatening me to do whatever we want . PLEASE DO NOT USE THEM FOR YOUR LOADS.

Good Luck man! They are a bunch of scammers. I know couple of people that used to drive for them, and Vansh would always keep their pay and make up an excuse until you went to the labor board. The owner used to work for Midstar logistics and their other scummy companies, that should tell you everything.

Tell them you will only pay when the truck is onsite at the receiver. Have your receiver take a picture of the truck and trailer. If it is not a Vansh truck, then immediately call the carrier who is hauling it and explain they are part of a double brokering scheme. They will be pleased to hear from you knowing they will be paid.

As others have said, this looks like double brokered.

The real carrier figured it out and is holding it hostage or they used some even sketchier carrier to pick it up and they are just holding it hostage to extort money.

Either way, terrible situation.

Make sure you notify both your insurer and the insurance provider of the party you gave the load to. Tell them all, there will be a claim for a lost shipment. In situations like this, you need all the help you can get to put pressure on the bad guys. Insurance companies don’t like this kind of nonsense either and might be able to assist. It’s worth a shot regardless of the outcome.

Hopefully, you got the COI with your company as holder. If not..... that might be a problem.

You’re absolutely right. I “assumed”, that every professional freight broker, or even a carrier who occasionally “sells off” his excess freight, would ask to be a named holder on a COI for the party hauling his freight.

VANSH TRUCKING (2405382 ONTARIO INC) gave us the short end of a stick for payment on a load that we hauled for them in May 2024. That load was also double brokered and the original broker of that load didn't help much. I was able to report this to Load Link and we received payment the next day via EFT. Just a little more information about the headache we encountered with them.

Midstar is the same of The North Transportation. It is owned by Raj and his brother, they constantly change names and factoring companies. Does anyone know who they are currently factoring with?
