So just to add to Vanguards failure on this load, they demand payment for the local move to my terminal but have no actual driver to take it. Just unbelievable. Simmi, Navdeep and crew are just plain old butchers. Book loads, move later if possible, and then demand what they want. They are on DNU list moving forward like many other carriers like this.

I don't think it should have been too bad when you look at it. Of course you need to look ahead at the weather along the route to make sure, but had a decent chance of delivering on Friday I would think. +/- 1600 miles total trip. Drive 300 miles after you load on Tuesday, then +/- 500 on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday for an afternoon delivery. Leaves minimal amount of time to recover if anything happens along the way though.
Of course in a perfect world every load delivers on time every time.

Most likely it didn't run in-bond and was routed via Toronto and up. I could be wrong, however that never happens.....lol

any one have any recent dealings with them - they just dropped the "we can't pickup at 1pm as promised " at 155 pm on me...
