To all carriers, be very aware that Valley Logistics, will do anything to get out of paying for loads.
We have done a few loads and yet to recieve payment, as well when they did issue a cheque, it didn't clear at the bank
 
Just a heads up, its been 5 months and still no payment from Valley Logistics. They're based out of 7 Reenders Drive in Winnipeg. It's a P.O. Box and a quick search pulled up a Canada Post outlet at that location.

We are now pursuing legal matters involving Loblaws.

Avoid this outfit.

I had to go to Loblaws with 2 loads we had. Loblaws will not pay for one as they have paid Valley and not paying anyone else again for the loads. So I got one load paid from Loblaws and the other Loblaws will not pay. Valley Logistics does not even answer their phone, just an answering machine with a female voice on it. "Scammers"

Valley Logistics are a bunch of deadbeats but the strange part of the situation is that Loblaws knows about Valley Logistics situation and they still choose to pay them. Maybe the owners of Valley are part of the Weston family?
 
Loblaws has known about them for a couple of months at least. I'm surprised that they still give them loads but then again, Loblaws just wants their freight moved at the lowest price. As far as them not paying an invoice they paid to Valley, take them to court if you have to. Loblaws doesn't do any due diligence if they are still giving Valley loads. I don't think they would appreciate us taking food from the store and telling them that we paid Safeway for it.
