Anyone else experiencing trouble getting payment from UPS Freight?

My invoice is over 70 days, accounts payable is not returning previous messages, I cannot leave any new messages because accounts payable voicemail is now full, and the manager of the dispatch office doesn't seem to return messages or take calls either.

We have done a couple of loads for UPS in 2013 and yes as big as they are it seems a very slow process to get paid but you do get paid, 83 days on one invoice and 74 days on the second invoice

Sounds like the UPS Express Critical office in Kansas....

I sent my invoice to Richmond, VA however it should have gone to the Alpharetta, GA address. Carol said the Richmond, VA office did not send over my invoice.

Yes, I also spoke to Carol early on in this process, but she then stopped returning calls and eventually her voicemail box filled up, I could not leave a message. The guy answering the phone at their dispatch office, Kris, was completely useless as he could only give me the phone number for Carol, whose voicemail was full.

I eventually got Kris to give me his supervisor's name and number, Toby Klem, but several messages left for him went unanswered. I ultimately called UPS head office and after several more layers of staff I was able to speak to Carl Pearson, who seemed to be someone in charge. He explained that they have been having many problems at their Alpharetta, GA office and they have since moved all payments to his office and someone would be getting back to me soon.

Over the course of the next week I received phone calls from 3 different confused individuals at UPS and finally one of them called back a second time and gave me a cheque number and mail date.

Received my cheque today in the mail, just 89 days after invoice date. If anyone else is still having trouble send me a PM and I will give you Carol Pearson's phone number.
