Uni Transport

Uni Transport double brokers all loads - currently taking them to court. They have left their Millcreek address - out of business it looks like.

We used them twice within the last year. LTL to and from Winnipeg. We have no record of any problems. Contact was Joe - located in Mississauga on Millcreek. Same people?
 
Yes on Millcreek. I believe they double brokered our loads and then one was stolen from "a yard". $24000 claim that still unpaid from December.
 
Double Broker

They double broker all loads apparently. So they owe you over $24,000 from December? They are no longer in their office on Millcreek. Have you tried to track down the owner - Paul Smyton - personally?
 
Large Lawsuit

Apparently there was a large ($400,000+) suit filed against UNI last year, and I think that led to their heading to the hills in early January. Bob or wahtever his real name was, was a perfect AH
 
Uni

Wow - that is quite a number! We will be taking action against him personally as well. Paul is the owner as far as I know and Bob is his sidekick - they had good loads - I have no idea where they got their business from or why their customers would use a broker. But anyway...I am sure they have burned alot of carriers.
 
Used them once for LTL from Edmonton and gave us every excuse in the book when the freight wasn't delivered almost 2 weeks later.

I dont know about good loads ??? they allways have cheap frght!!!! and pay 90 days, Bob from Uni transport gone and working for BFD now, so now you know how to find them.....

Scam Chaser indicated a large law suit back in December. Any other information on this..Who filed against them, etc.?
 
Corporate search notes Ahmed Niaz as the owner of Uni Transport. Anyone heard this name before? The only names I have affiliated with Uni Transport are Bob and Paul.
 
Unless they purposely chnaged the names which is easy to do
