Lately I’ve been running into a few small issues with my truck and wanted to ask for advice from other drivers. Nothing major, but it’s starting to affect daily driving a bit.
Cold starts have been a bit slow sometimes, especially in the early mornings when the temperature is low. The battery still looks fine, but it feels like it’s not holding charge as well as it used to. After driving for a while, the engine temperature also occasionally creeps up, especially in traffic or low-speed stop-and-go situations, so I’m not sure if the cooling system is starting to show some wear.
The brakes also feel slightly different lately. The air pressure seems normal, but the response when I press the pedal feels a bit less sharp, with a slight delay compared to before. I’m not sure if this is normal wear or something that needs checking.
Tire wear has also been faster than before, especially after running heavier loads. The front tires are starting to show uneven wear, so I’ve been checking tire pressure more carefully before each trip.
Just a quick mention, the tail lift is only used occasionally.
