Garmin truck GPS units are the best. Look for the Garmin dezl, they are not cheap but as long as they keep working your can update the maps. Just need to keep reminding your drivers that the GPS is only as good as the operator.

We also use the Garmin DEZL units.
The Rand McNally software is better, but the only guarantee with a Rand McNally is that it will break down within the 1st 9 months, then it takes 3 to 4 weeks to get it repaired or replaced. In short, their software is great, but their hardware sucks.

@loaders ... we give all our new hires an atlas, but to be completely honest, that's really just for the entertainment value ... you should see the looks on their faces !!!!!! ... ROFLMFAO

Do you know what specific model of Garmin your guys are using?

Garmin Dezl 760 I think
