another perfectly good customer shot to hell, because of lying f^$%# carriers..great way to start the work week..eh?

I understand your frustration, but your final coments make about as much sense as me saying all load brokers are scum! If you truly beleive this maybe it's time to make a choice.

read all the words

i said.....becasue of lying carriers,,,,if you are not a liar,it doesn't apply to you ...does it?

Let's not fuel the fire

I spend alot of time here writing and replying to posts to try and cool off the war between carriers and brokers. We should be working together to make a better industry and not fighting with each other. Annie, you have every right to explain how you received poor service from a particular carrier, just as a carrier has every right to complain about poor business practices from a broker, but let's not paint the whole industry with the same brush. You just add fuel to the fire.

either you are misreading the note or i am seriously missing something here,,,,i am not talking about all carriers .....i clearly stated....lying carriers,,,,,lying carriers,,,,fueling the fire is something that happens when somebody misreads a note, and understands it wrongly.anyhow enough of that,,,,,you are right we need to work together absolutely right you are.

Annie, these guys did the same thing to me back in 01 with LTL to Houston. They will promise your delivery time & date but it will sit in their yard until they have enough freight to make a full load and tell you all kinds of stories. I'm quite surprised they are still in business doing the same thing.

now, i,m not taking sides here, but as a flatbed carrier that does LTL and FTL the freight in Ontario for flatbed work is very slow, and sometimes, putting all the parts together, to make even a small profit is hard, but that said, the carrier should have been up front with you, and told you where he stands with your freight, so that maybe you can keep your customer informed. My rule is i don't touch anything unless i plan on delivering on a timely manner, for both LTL or FTL. the worst thing, we as carriers can do is lie to the shipper or load broker.
