Hi All,

TRIUMPHPAY just reached out to us with a good news. They now have the capability to make the Electronic payments to Canadian banks in both currencies Canadian and USA. It was explained to me that not all the agents with Triumphpay have the knowledge about it, however, they assembled a specific team to deal with payments to Canada.

To get a setup for ACH send the email to [email protected] with Subject: Transfer to Canadian ACH, Attn: Team Titus.

Hope it works out for all.

Thank you so much for the info! Just spoke to them on Tuesday and they did not have this option at the time!

Do you have a specific contact that you dealt with? I used exactly what you had written above in the Subject line, however, I'm being told that they are only able to deposit funds to a CAD account if the broker is paying in CAD funds. The account must be a US Direct Bank with the Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) and not an app bank account. We have a Canadian Bank (CIBC) with both US and CAD accounts. Normally we receive US checks from TriumphPay...

We had conversation with them yesterday and they said they can't for USD. It has to be US bank with US account. They even refused to mail the check to Personal PO BOX in US and refused to send by FedEx or UPS.
about over $200,000 USD is due with them.
And we do use this email.

will try again to discuss this.

Thanks

What is the conversion rate they pay you in?

We ask them to wire the payments and surprised, they can only Wire to RBC accounts. Not to any other bank. And they could not provide any reason.
We receive payments from Williams and on one request, they set up wire and sent payments on same day.
we have RBC. they didnt wire to us, they said need US account

There are even free one's out there with ACH/Swift#. Just helped setup on of my client. I was surprised that they were still getting paid via checks.
So, as a Canadian incorporation, can we set up a bank account in USA? Do they ask for proof of citizenship or incorporation? what kind of documents do they require to set up a bank account?

Set up with Try Vault, but it won't work for Triumph, but we have been receiving all of our other ACH payments through them, very nice folks and the process is seamless. CP is back to work tomorrow so you should have your triumph mail in the next few days.

Thanks, we pressured our customer( Not Triumph) since we are doing daily loads for them, that we won't haul and they discuss with Triumph and they start mailing to our PO box in US which they had refused to do to begin with.
Yes, CP is going to start tomorrow what i heard.
