TRIPLE D EXPRESS INC out of QC 514-889-2832 AKA Josh Transporters Inc. from Brampton 905-846-5719 is an awful carrier to deal with. I gave them some good paying LTL from Calgary to Toronto picking up on a Thursday for delivery by Tuesday. I needed to arrange a crew for off load so I tried to keep on top of them but nobody answered the phone or returned calls FRI,SAT or SUN. Finally Sunday night I blocked my number and they actually answered and told me where they were and said a crew for Tuesday 10am would be fine so I booked it. I traced them Monday to confirm all was well but again no answer and they went missing until Thursday when they answer and tell me they are in Montreal on the way to Hamilton for a Friday delivery and I could rebook a crew for Fri 11am so helplessly I did. Missing their apt for the 2nd time I can't reach them until Friday at 2pm and they say they can deliver Saturday at 10am but they want to be paid up front in cash. At this point what can I do? I refuse to pay prior to arrival but get cash to the consignee and tell them when they show up at 10 it will be waiting for them. They show up Saturday at 2pm (8 days later, 4 days late) and the consignee asks to see the product because nobody trusts them at this point and the truck speeds off LOL. I convince them to go back and the delivery is finally made with minor damage because they transferred from 1 trailer to another prior to delivery. My customer could have actually lived with the Saturday delivery if not for being lied to every time I spoke to the carrier. Pls beware of these two companies.
