Good Afternoon Everyone:

Anyone have any reference on the above company. Have not done any work for them and wondering what references there might be.

What a joke

I have also never worked for them but they just posted a load to Wichita KS. They asked my rate first question so I gave them one. I asked about the load if it was a good one details etc. The chick on the phone says your to high we are looking to pay $1100 for 1175 miles. Me beign the true gentleman that I am asked her if she was out of her mind and had any idea what trucking was all about cost involved etc. She told me it was a fair rate then I lost it I do believe I am now on their DNU list it is trully a crying shame that I am going to miss out on working with this reputable broker!!!

Rob, I think you might have just been a little greedy on your rate to them. What gives you the right to expect to put food on your table, clothes on your kids back, a roof over their heads, fuel in the tanks, and insurance on your trucks?

I mean come on now, since when is $0.95 per mile unreasonable?

(Obviously this is tongue in cheek)

LOL - May their load sit and rust. That is... until the product becomes needed badly enough that a decent rate can be put on it

The dispatcher girl there was no clue at all, we turn down there freight all the time because they are way too cheap.

They probably give the freight to the carriers from Brampton.:D

I guess this is another case where they went to the welfare line to find some yahoo to dispatch their freight for minimum wage -- probably doesn't know better.

I find that employees are a pretty good representative of their boss ie he/she is prbably an idiot also.

from my personal experience, I cannot call Lowmiler a liar....he's right on with his assessment of the situation. I lost a customer to these guys and they were confident enough to call and see if we wanted to move their loads.

These guys are now posting trucks.
Has anyone used their services before?
Looking for service reference.
Thanks!

Triangle would call up regularly trying to get rates and I would routinely decline quoting them. They're bottom-feeders as far as I'm concerned and probably double-broker if they're posting "trucks." They have no legitimate reason for doing that other than to see what other brokers have the same freight. In fact, I think I remember telling them they were shopping the same freight as someone else which made me say "you don't have this freight...I'm not quoting you."

Wouldn't you know it: they have "1 truck" and they got their authorities in August of this year. A truck in a desk, folks. They can post trucks on Link because they have a carrier authority. We all know different.

As per my dispatchers conversation with these folks, they apparently have 3 FB's in OH weekly... I thought it was too good to be true.

It is (after having read this thread)!

Good thing I checked them out here first.

Thanks again Insidetransport (and members for your contributions), I feel a donation coming on...

Keep well,

Mike

They are posting trucks again.

I am glad I checked before calling them.

I try to do this when I am unsure of these postings and it helps a lot.

Thanks for all the input.

We did a few small LTLs in the past 4 months. Not the quickest, but pmt did arrive around 50 days.

We got quite a few invoices with Triangle over the years. Getting paid in 35 to 41 days by Direct Deposit to our account. Never had any problems. Hope it helps.
