Think About It....

If you are having a hard time tracking a company down, do you really want to deal with them? NOT

Tri-Star

Sorry Michdave I never got any feedback on them so never used them, but back in April 2010 they subsribed to LINK as they were listed at the time. We never entered them in our system so I can't help but perhaps LINK has some info on file ? As I recall they called on freight we posted and boasted a selection of all types of trailers, a lot for a small fleet so it sounded fishy. I hope they're not into you for anything, good luck.

No it's a long lost buddy of mine....I hope....lol. Looking to see if he need a 48 foot flat bed or 53 foot roll tite. Am looking for work or new carrier.

Tri Star

Did a load F/B load from WY. for us. Service was O.K. They have one dispatcher far better than the other.

Parasite the name fits. Thanks friendly that was him. Great bunch of guys worked with them back in the day. Not afraid of work like most these days.

for those who are looking for Tri-Star Transport you've found us. We are based out of Cambridge and our address has been posted below.

Parasite: we do have a fleet of 7 trucks (3 o/p and 4 c/d) and even though we have a small fleet (actually we're not even considered a fleet until we have 10 trucks) we do have a variety of equipment (8 trailers incl. flatbed, conestoga, reefer and 1 lonely dry box) we started in April of this year and like most new & small companies - some companies are afraid to use our services because they don't want to get burned, and I completely understand. I, myself have been in this industry for 10 yrs now (my brothers for 15 yrs) and I've seen it all. I too am extra careful when booking freight because we don't want to get burned either (which we already have). No we're not perfect (but really who is?), and yes we have ALOT to learn, but like Dave said (Dave are you Dave W.?) we're not afraid of hard work.

Friendly: I apologize if one of the dispatchers was not as good as the other one. That one dispatcher has never worked in the Transport Industry and she's in the learning process. But I'm glad that we did a good enough job for you. :-)

I can provide references of people that have used our services and employers that we've worked for in the past. I'm not afraid to do so because I know that we try to give 100% in everything we do.

We had the opportunity to use Tri-Star Transport last Sept. and they did a great job for us. I would not hesitate to use them again. If they maintain their good work ethic and can survive these tough times, there is no reason for them, or any other small carrier not to succeed.

Hey Leonesa, too bad it took 7 months to get any response on your company from anyone else, but I'm glad it looks positive. Careful, some on here will judge you because you operate from a house. I hope your reunion with Michdave was successful, yes Michdave, Parisite is a fitting name for someone from Paris...What they call Brantford people ?

Unfortunately Tristar, I feel the need to research very carefully before I give freight to new people presenting themselves as carriers. Nothing personal, it's the way things are these days. Too many bad guys out there. Nothing turned up on you guys in April. but I guess you had just started up. It takes a while.
I've had over 32 years at this to watch the industry get the way it is today, so have I seen it all twice ? Nope, don't think so, keep seeing new guys with new ways to screw other guys.
I hope it's going well for you...we'll be in touch

Parasite: I totally understand. You can never be too careful. And yes, having a home office might make people think twice, but I'm sure you and others will understand that being a new carrier we can't afford the overhead of an office/yard at least not yet.

I'm sure we'll be in touch, hopefully one day you can give us a chance :-)
