Hi all,

Anyone have any experiences with Travel Transport in Mississauga, ON with respect to service? Contact is Harry?

I believe Travel Transport is a reincarnation somewhat of Super Service Transport (SST) a flatbed carrier from Brampton that was run by the same guy Harry
 
They have done 23 loads for us so far since 2016, OD and legal inbound. They do a great job (Mona & Harry) would use again no problem.
 
A prime example of a company that shows google reviews don't always translate. Seems like everyone here has great experiences with them, but the reviews don't do them justice.

Yup, can definitely relate from own experience. One of our drivers we caught stealing fuel from us a couple years back was fired and the amount he stole was deducted off his pay. He then retaliated by putting negative reviews on our company and had his uncles and cousins do the same. It did hurt in the beginning because some companies do rely on those reviews, but after we built up more of a repuation in the market it was less of a worry.

It's important to reply to the google reviews and give your side of the story. No need to throw stones back but a well-crafted response can often give other readers the understanding that this may be a one time isolated incident with a frustrated individual that really has nothing to do with your service. Not many will give a blank 1star rating or a 5 star rating a whole lot of merit. I always read the context of the review to try to understand who is at fault.

I looked at the reviews from Travel Transport and found 6 good reviews and 2 bad reviews in the past year. Thats not horrible.

I have been using Travel a few times a week for the last half a year, regular flatbed loads from AR back to Ontario & they have done a great job.. A day late on one pick up, but they warned me the day before asking if they can roll it or if I'd like to recover it. I kept it with them, and they picked up the next morning as they said they would.. I will keep giving them my loads, i am happy with their service and their rates.

Asked this carrier their price to run, got them the price they want, and they tell me we cannot do it and need more money. All within 10 minutes. Happened twice with Mona and Gurleen. Decided to give this carrier a second chance later on and they failed miserably again.

Now 1 year later, my colleague books them on a load, again.... failed.

I do not recommend working with Travel Transport
