Double broking on almost 100% of loads. Had many problems with late deliveries and picks. On DNU list....

Just to update. Truck showed up 1 day late with notice. Louis enjoys speaking but doesn't do much listening. Shipment hasn't delivered yet (due tomorrow)
Hoping it turns out OK.

Was a domestic shipment. No other carrier noted on bill of lading

They claim having their own trucks to brokers loads but I talked with one of their drivers and it's absolutely not true...

A few owner operators (2/3 and not 100% dedicated!) and other transport companies.... I received a copy of the bill of lading with a sticker over the transport company name......

When you called to see if he had a truck did he have to call you back? That is a sign that he is calling other carriers first to broker the load.

Yes he has to call back. On another load, Louis (the only guy in the house and working from his home only) accepted the load and call back later to cancel because his driver is sick or have death in his familly.... nice speaker but no results.
Also, when you check the insurance certificate that he provides, it's another company name.
Finally, Transport Optimal is only registered as a freight broker and not as a assets owning transport company....Its your choice to use him.... not for me... thanks anyway!!
