I couldn't tell you. I found it a bit suspicious that a quebec carrier was posting from ON to SK, but I thought maybe they were trying to go out west. They're probably posting more lanes that they are double brokering.

Gee you guys are sure getting picky. It is getting harder and harder for the fine folks in Quebec to help us all CO- broker our loads. We all know that with out them nothing would move and they are all here to help us..Duh!!

The equipment side of things is now owned and operated by SLB Transit, you can still contact John/Alex at the old Lac Express office # they are just running under SLB now. Any other contacts for Transport Lac Express are now brokerage only, verified by my contacts at both companies. I can't speak for this new "Lac Express" but I would give a glowing review for SLB Transit, ask for Serge/Dominique, or continue dealing with Alex & John.
I did caught him double-brokering a stepdeck load from a broker friend of mine. (I know because my friend got those loads for me to haul, but forgot we do not have any steps...)
They do have lumber loads out of QC. (From my understanding, the faher of the owner is a major partner in a big lumber wholesaler)

not all Quebecers are bad. But, you must remember that when the french settled Quebec, they had to empty their prisons to do that... Vivre a bilingual Quebec... the unilinguals just don't have a clue... until the world wide web, they could be kept in the dark... not any more. they can just search the web and have it translated
