DON'T deal with anyone here. They came to us for equipment, signed an :mad:agreement, used the equipment, returned it, and didn't pay a cent. We have been chasing them through phone calls and emails to no avail. Now the phone is disconnected, and they are 'gone'!! Vijay and Raj are the 2 contacts there. Don't trust them at all. They clearly move around from supplier to supplier, not paying. Even collection agencies can't get to them as they have no contact info.

I am guessing they were "credit worthy" when you rented/leased equipment to them.

The problem with credit checks is they either use their buddy's company as a creditor OR they use creditors like fuel and insce that they have to pay on time or be cut off. I think that is why some credit applications are as specific and detailed as they are so that the rat's can be detected before you do business with them.

Hum!!

Everytime I want to rent or lease any equipment, I've been asked so much info - bank account #, sin # personal guarantee, void cheque etc.

I wonder about your business practice - how someone can rent out or lease out a trailer without getting a cheque or account info? Maybe it's just me.

Do you have their proper names or last names? These look like "nick names" or fake names to me. Didn't you get a copy of their ID's?

BigT, you are right. Last time I picked up a rental truck I had to offer up my driver's license for them to copy. I blacked out the number (identity theft) but they made damn sure they knew where to find me.
