Has anyone had experience with the newest incarnation, namely:

TRANSAM EXPRESS INC.

Set-up as a sister company to Transam Carriers operating out of the same address location. Focus NE Seaboard.

I know you are asking for "experience" regarding Transam Express - and my reply to that is you don't want any experience with either of those companies you listed.

Giving freight...or taking freight....
 
We have used all of the companies (going back to the TDS days) and never had any issues. What negative experiences have you had DRC?
 
I may have jumped the gun with my post....

We have had major issues with Jaguar - notes all in our system - but I don't think it is for the same "Jaguar" that stressbeater was referring to. Here we go again with the same name companies. There is a Jaguar - not sure if Brampton or Etobicoke - that has just recently screwed alot of people and closed up.

I had "marked" Transam Express on our end when I may have been thinking Transnet. I will need to inquire further with our dispatch and compare their notes - make sure I've got the right one blocked....

Paul @ AMA may be able to shed some more light on stressbeater's original post.
 
The level of service provided by Transam Express (Transam #2) is consistent with that received from Jaguar and TDS prior.

To be honest, I think this last reorganization may have been good for them. I spoke to our friends at Transam #1 and they advise that if we have an issue trying to get a hold of Transam #2, we can cell them and they will help (as their office are in the same building).

And I've always been more than satisfied with the services offered by Transam #1. (like my IL today you bailed me out of... thanks!!).

My freight to the East Coast has followed Dan... where he goes so does the freight, great guy to deal with, Excellent Service... cant say the same for Transam Carriers.
As long as the two operate separate, all is good.

DRC if any issues with either please PM me would be glad to resolve best of my abilities. As far as history of Jaguar and TDS and affiliated brokerage I'm perfectly aware of it and hopefully now it has been left behind. Other than hopefully the good service and communication, all baggage is in the past.
